Advantages and characteristics of the use of interior decorative plywood
- Dec 14, 2018 -

In the process of making the interior plywood, the logs are mainly cut into veneers by wood or sliced into thin wood by wood, and then laminated with three or more layers of adhesive. An odd number of veneers are usually used, and the fiber directions of adjacent layer veneers are vertically aligned and glued to each other. Therefore, there are odd-numbered plywoods such as triple, five, and seven.

From the structural point of view, the outer veneer of the product is called the watchboard, and the front panel is called the panel, which is made of a single plate of better quality. The opposite side of the board is called the back sheet, with a single sheet of the next quality. The single sheet of the inner layer is called a core or middle plate and is composed of a single plate of poor quality.

Features of interior decorative plywood:

1. Plywood not only has all the advantages of natural wood, such as light weight, high strength, beautiful texture, insulation, etc., but also can make up for some natural defects such as knots, small size, deformation, and vertical and horizontal mechanical differences.

2. Plywood production can make rational use of logs. Because it has no sawdust, it can produce 1 cubic meter of plywood per 2.2-2.5 cubic meters of logs, which can be used instead of about 5 cubic meters of logs for sawing. For every cubic meter of plywood produced, it can produce a residue of 1.2-1.5 cubic meters. Rice, which is a good raw material for the production of medium density fiberboard and particleboard.
